The safety crew at Kalamazoo was very professional and efficient. The cast was made up of off-duty firefighters and paramedics. This is a comfort to the racers who may need immediate medical evaluation and attention by professionals used to trauma. Many tracks need to call 911 in a serious situation and help could be tens of minutes away. That’s not a comforting thought. View Related Article
