The view from what was between Turns 1 and 2 at Manzanita Speedway. The Palo Verde tree in the center of the picture was just about 50 -75 feet of off the back stretch. The pit gate was located just beyond that particular section of the back straight. Sold in 2009, the transformation of Manzy from racetrack to a parking lot and holding yard for heavy equipment has already begun. View Related Article
