A view of the cockpit from overhead reveals the location of the driver seat, nearer the center of the car. An interesting aspect of the cockpit is that the floor is fabricated from 1/8-inch-thick steel. The sturdy rollcage uses 1 1/2-inch steel tubing. There is also a cross bar across the top for added stiffness. The cockpit is a neat and functional. Note the beefy window bars and the 15-inch steering wheel. View Related Article
