Grass to gas? A newly proposed collaboration between the Argonne National Laboratory and the City of Naperville, Illinois, would convert landscape waste such as grass and leaf trimmings-into one of several different environmentally friendly fuels, including ethanol, bioelectricity, and hydrogen.
