Pivoting the rearend can help the car turn, but not in the direction that you might think. If the rearend is pivoted so that the wheelbase on the left side is longer than the right (A), the car will crabwalk into the turns and push. Pivoting the rearend the other way (B) will help the back end swing out in the turns and help your driver bring the car around.
