This is a used ETC system using radar (black cylinder at left) tomeasure ground speed to calculate wheel slip. The cylinder is mountedwith line-of-sight to the track surface. Sensor-based ETC units likethis are harder to mount to defy detection, just because of the numberof parts and wires. View Related Article
