The left shock assembly was very close to being too long for this installation. We could have used more space to adjust the loading on that tire, but it worked out well in the end. Should we have wanted to lower the car any more than what we did, I would have needed to cut off some of the sleeve spacer. Knowing I needed the ends of the spacer to be perfectly at 90 degrees to the sides, I was reluctant to cut them at the shop.
