The primary shaft hole is one of the main areas of wear. A crack will lead to a vacuum leak, so Jet Performance automatically installs a bushing on all rebuilds and checks for cracks.

After the bushing is installed in the baseplate, it is reamed to perfectly fit the new throttle shaft.
