At the back of the Windsor block, the main gallery (A) feeds the two lifter galleries (B & C). But the path to get the oil to both galleries is slightly tricky. The oil feeds up pressurizing the first gallery (b), before coming back down to feed the second (c). It is possible to use a single restrictor to reduce the pressure to both galleries at location D, but this allows the pressure in gallery B to be greater than in gallery C.
