Safety Lock Wire Tightening

Put the wire through and around the head of the bolt. Twist the wire to within a quarter inch of the second bolt. Run one end of the wire through the bolt and the other end around the head. Twist the wires, leaving about a half inch of wire. Cut off the excess and tuck in the loose end so it doesn't catch on anything. View Related Article
