This is a two-piece seat system designed to work well with a Hans-style head-and-neck restraint. If you use a one-piece seat with a pass-through for the shoulder belts, make sure the belts won't rub on the edges of the seat. Also, Sibley recommends two separate shoulder belts. The Y-style belts that end in a single mount can sometimes slide together and cut the driver's neck in an accident and don't usually work as well with a Hans system. View Related Article
