Rubbn'Repair is an advanced structural repair system for the racing and automotive industries. It is a quick, easy-to-use, effective high performance patch for fenders, hoods and body panels.
RR is unique in that it has shape-changing flexibility as well as structural strength. Designed as an alternative to duct tape, the patch material is a high-strain fabricated shape memory polymer resin matrix with an extreme performance, industrial strength adhesive on one side.
When heated above its activation temperature, RR is rubbery and moldable. It can be folded, bent, stretched and even trimmed. When cooled, RR is stiff and structurally strong providing support for the damaged area. The patch is water resistant, will not degrade or crumble, requires no long curing period and contains no chemical irritants or fumes.
Applying the patch is as easy as removing the adhesive backing, holding the heated patch over the damaged area and waiting 20 seconds until it cools and becomes rigid. RR can be reheated and reshaped many times before it is applied.
