As a foundation for their new Circle Track floater package, Moser Engineering started with a stronger 9-inch housing that is made from all-new materials. This is not an OEM item or junkyard rebuild. The Moser 9-inch housing banjo is constructed of heavy-duty American metal and offers certain characteristics not available in many circle track housings being sold today. Fishmouth cuts have been added for superior strength, new 3-inch (DOM or seamless) high-strength tubing is used, and the brackets are made from new and stronger material. The housing is available with an oversized fill plug for quick additions, a standard-sized flush-mount drain, a convenient vent tube, and a choice of Moser Performance snouts.
Three distinctive performance hubs are offered: the 5x5-inch Grand National style hub, the dual bolt pattern hub utilizing a 5x4 3/4-inch and 5x4 1/2-inch pattern, and the new 5BP hub, which has a 5x5-inch pattern and fits a smaller Moser dual BP/5BP snout. All hubs are made from 100 percent American-made 4140P aircraft-quality alloy steel. The material used carries a high hardness rating of 302 (Bbn), meaning Moser performance hubs are 35 percent stronger!
Moser CT performance hubs are lighter, too. In some cases, they are more than 1/2 pound lighter per hub than other hubs on the market. The superior makeup of the Moser CT parts package does not end with the hubs. The Moser CT drive flanges and steel rotor adapters are made from the same aircraft-quality alloy: 4140P. Not only does this make the hub assembly almost indestructible, but it also allows you, as a racer, to concentrate on doing what you're supposed to do: win a race.
Also included in the package (along with the housing and performance hubs) are either 28- or 31-spline Moser alloy axles, steel drive flanges, steel or aluminum rotor adapters, and all of the appropriate bolts, bearings, and seals needed to complete the job.
