22 As mentioned previously, this engine was originally cast aside because of a blown head gasket that allowed coolant to get into one of the combustion chambers. Thanks to a set of Cometic high-tech multi-layer-steel (MLS) head gaskets, that won’t be a worry this time around. The MLS gaskets do an excellent job of sealing off combustion even if we wind up pushing the engine too hard and it suffers a bit of detonation. View Related Article
