City Boy’s block is all set...  City Boy’s block is all set and ready for all new internals.  We will install Race Engineering’s...  We will install Race Engineering’s Ultralight pistons by CP Pistons. This unique design, which is proprietary to Race Engineering, is built on a strutted CP forging. At a remarkably low weight of 278 grams, they’re still strong enough to use in strokers. Even the supplied wristpin weighs only 74 grams; that’s at least 41 grams lighter than other aftermarket pins.  Race’s modified auxiliary...  Race’s modified auxiliary bearings are ready for installation. The rear bearing is grooved and notched to feed more oil to the distributor gear. The front is notched to feed more oil to the aux shaft retaining plate where there tends to be some wear in higher rpm applications.  Rod length isn’t specified...  Rod length isn’t specified in the rules, so we opted for Race’s longer 5.840-inch, 498-gram rods. The track is a fast 3⁄8-mile and Justin will be aggressive behind the wheel so we went with the longest rod Bob normally recommends on a track of this size.
