Be careful with external oil lines if you are racing a dry-sump engine. If these lines aren't properly routed they can get too close to the headers. The excessive heat from the headers can cause the rubber lining to weaken and suck closed in a vacuum line. A visual inspection won't turn up anything because the steel-braid sleeve on the outside will still look fine. View Related Article
