Ford 351 Engine Block Crossover Galleries

Another change to this block that engine builders should be aware of is it has crossover galleries to the lifter galleries at both the front and back of the block. This is to make sure both galleries get plenty of oil when racing big, flat-tappet camshafts. But if you restrict oil flow to the heads, be aware that you will have to either cut off flow in one of the crossovers or restrict both. View Related Article
