Engine Tuning Air Bleed Jets
A much easier way to adjust the air/fuel mixture in order to match current atmospheric conditions of air temperature and barometric pressure is by changing the four air bleed jets located within easy reach at the top of the carburetor. Changing the fuel jets located on the metering block is time consuming, messy, and a potential cause of fire. The fuel bowl must be removed to change the fuel jets. This comes with a high probability of spilling gas onto a hot engine and causing a flash fire. View Related Article
