Angle-cutting requires the holes for the head bolts to be recut so the bolts can thread properly into the block. The more of an angle you cut into the heads, the more the holes will go oblong. The ones you have to watch out for are those closest to the ports. On Chevrolets, that means especially the hole located between the two adjoining exhaust ports. View Related Article
