The rev limiter is easy to adjust, but can be a bit confusing. First set the mode. In our case, we are using the basic functions of the system, so we set the more to “0.” With that mode, the first two knobs (far left) are not used. The other two are used for the rev limiter. Setting the rev limiter was the only confusing part. Set each knob (one for thousands, one for hundreds), then add 1,000 rpm to get the finial limiter rpm. The extra 1,000 rpm is for use with some other functions, but is not needed for what we are doing. After setting the limiter, everything worked exactly as it’s supposed to. Be sure your crew guys know the proper way to adjust the limiter.
