Here’s a good example of a driveshaft that’s ready for the trash bin. Something happened during a race to cause some other component of the race car to come into contact with the tubing. When whatever it was came into contact with the rapidly spinning shaft it didn’t take long to create a groove that will significantly weaken the shaft. View Related Article
