The Coilover Load Pro by Gale Force Suspension is a new tool that is revolutionizing coilover racing. The machine is a powerful setup tool that can save you time and give you insight that hasn’t been possible until now. With bump rubbers and coil-bind becoming commonplace in todays racing environment, the Load Pro proves to be invaluable. It works like a mini pull-down rig, and gives you a load number that’s measured at the shock and spring. It also allows you to rotate the spring, just as if they were on the car, with head pressure in the shock. It also affords you the opportunity to accurately test bump loads and coil-bind pressures. The tool comes with powerful graphing software that allows you to graph all your numbers for further research and development.

Gale Force’s Coilover Load...

Gale Force’s Coilover Load Pro is the safest and fastest way to change a coilover spring thanks to its specially designed “ring” which is made to fit into the U-shaped plate on the machine (yellow plate on the left), and is fully contained by the swiveling endcap. The unloader is unique because it doesn’t use the actual coils of the spring to compress it, allowing it to jack up perfectly straight. You can use the “Heim Catcher” at the top of the machine to change your bumpstop combo without removing the spring all the way. This is best done at the racetrack when you’re in a crunch for time.

The Coilover Load Pro Data...

The Coilover Load Pro Data Machine features a digital travel indicator to go with the digital readout of the load. With a simple USB connection to your computer, the software allows you to view the load and travel from your shock and spring. The software will also allow you to overlay up to four files to give you a display of the changes you’ve made on your shock and spring package. The Pro Data is a must-have for all teams running and studying bumpstops, coil-binding, and stacked spring combos. It will allow you to look at the curves of engagement to the force of max travel, ultimately helping you fine-tune the package you are looking for at the racetrack.

Using a 3/8-inch drive ratchet...

Using a 3/8-inch drive ratchet head, you can easily spin the threads on your shock when getting your desired load at the spring. Simply use a spanner wrench on the shock nut to hold, and use the free spinning head to load or unload the spring pre-load with ease.
