On the DP car, being a prototype means that the systems are necessarily made very compact and the sway bars' designs can be varied and somewhat odd. With the links attached to rockers, linking the wheel and spring running at odd angles from a top view, and attached to bendable blades at the ends of the bar, we can count many variables and non-linear functions as the car rolls.
